This job opportunity is at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee authorized to use McDonald's logos and food products. It is important to understand that this franchisee operates as a separate company and is not McDonald's USA. Thus, any employment decisions, including hiring, firing, scheduling, and other personnel management tasks, are solely handled by the franchisee. McDonald's USA has no control or involvement in these matters and will not receive your employment application or take part in hiring decisions.

The position available is for a General Manager who will oversee restaurant operations to ensure profitability and adherence to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role is crucial as it involves managing a high-volume restaurant environment and maintaining performance according to stringent customer service benchmarks. The General Manager will collaborate with leadership to set strategic goals for the restaurant and develop action plans aimed at achieving these objectives. They will lead a team of Department Managers, guiding them in setting and reaching their departmental goals. This involves monitoring progress, offering coaching, and providing direction to enhance each department and thereby the restaurant's overall efficiency and success.

The General Manager will also handle the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong leadership pipeline that aligns with the restaurant's long-term vision. Candidates with previous experience managing busy restaurants, particularly quick service restaurants, are preferred. Experience in hospitality or retail management is also valuable. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial role within corporate-owned restaurants.
