Job Description
Leadership, Service, and Hospitality Group - LSH GRP, LLC is a dynamic, growth-oriented organization that operates McDonald's franchise locations, offering substantial opportunities for career advancement within the renowned global fast-food brand. Based on a foundation of leadership, service, and hospitality, LSH GRP is committed to fostering positive impacts not only within its restaurants but also in the communities they serve. The company values self-motivated and friendly leaders who aspire to make a meaningful difference and contribute to a thriving team environment. This commitment is embodied in their mission: "Through a daily commitment to leadership, service, and hospitality, we strive to make a positive impact on ourselves, our team, our community, and our brand."
LSH GRP, LLC specializes in managing well-operating McDonald's restaurants that emphasize quality, customer satisfaction, and employee development. Their approach views both customers dining in front of the counter and employees working behind the scenes as valuable guests, requiring a welcoming and positive culture. This distinct perspective drives their operational standards and team dynamics.
The General Manager role at LSH GRP is pivotal and richly multifaceted, carrying the responsibility of shaping and maintaining the restaurant's culture while achieving profitability and operational excellence. This role requires ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald's critical standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) consistently. The General Manager serves as the key culture ambassador, collaborating closely with supervisors to set ambitious yet attainable goals. They develop strategic plans targeting growth in guest counts and overall business success, then lead the team to execute these plans effectively.
A major component of the job is talent development and leadership cultivation. The General Manager mentors Department Managers, assisting them in setting their own departmental goals, coaching them on progress, and providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance in every area. By empowering managers, the General Manager indirectly strengthens the entire restaurant’s operations. Additionally, responsibility extends to recruiting, hiring, and nurturing future leaders, including Department and Shift Managers, ensuring that the restaurant maintains a capable management team ready for sustained success.
Ideal candidates are problem solvers and proactive leaders who flourish in a team-driven, competitive environment. They adapt to change and technological advancements while maintaining high food safety standards and operational compliance. Executing systems with precision and continuously coaching staff to move from task-doers to empowered leaders underpins the position’s leadership philosophy. The target is to foster an environment where wins are celebrated, and standards are not only met but consistently exceeded.
Overall, being a General Manager at LSH GRP offers a challenging yet rewarding career pathway within the McDonald’s franchise system. Employees enjoy a full spectrum of benefits, including competitive pay, opportunities for education through programs such as Archways to Opportunity, comprehensive medical coverage, vacation time, and other employee rewards, which showcase the company’s commitment to valuing and developing its team members. This role suits driven professionals eager to contribute to a beloved global brand while advancing their leadership career in the fast-food industry.
