Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. Therefore, all employment-related decisions, including hiring, firing, supervision, discipline, staffing, and scheduling, are managed solely by the franchisee. McDonald's USA does not have any control over the employment matters of this restaurant, nor will it receive any employment applications or be involved in the decision-making process regarding interviews or hiring.

The position offered is for the role of General Manager at a McDonald's franchise restaurant. This is a leadership position responsible for managing a high-volume restaurant to ensure profitability and uphold McDonald's critical standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager plays a pivotal role in setting and achieving restaurant goals in collaboration with their leader. They lead a dedicated team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and guidance to improve each department's performance. By enhancing individual departments, the overall restaurant experience and success improve significantly.

The General Manager is also tasked with hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers, ensuring that the restaurant builds a strong leadership team prepared to drive future growth. Candidates with prior General Manager experience at high-volume locations, especially within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail, are highly desired. Applicants must be 18 years or older to qualify for this managerial role within corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
