This particular opportunity is for the role of General Manager 6 at Sodexo, overseeing district-wide food service operations within Providence Public Schools in Providence, RI. The successful candidate will manage meal programs at 35 school locations, ensuring strict compliance with USDA School Nutrition Programs. This position is pivotal in supporting student health and academic success through the delivery of nutritious and high-quality meals. The General Manager will serve as the primary liaison with district and state leadership, responsible for fiscal management, procurement, staffing, participation growth, and regulatory reporting. They will lead a multi-site management team, aiming to optimize program efficiency and strengthen partnerships between the schools and the community. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- five years of management experience
- four years’ experience in management of school nutrition programs
- valid driver's license
- proven ability to lead multi-site operations within a complex environment
- experience with K12 USDA school nutrition programs is preferred including compliance with federal meal pattern and regulatory requirements
- strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance management
- excellent communication presentation and project management skills
- demonstrated success in influencing stakeholders at all levels
- talent management expertise including coaching and developing teams

Job Duties
