Located in Omaha, Nebraska, Sodexo is currently seeking a General Manager 6 - Food for Nebraska Medicine. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead all food retail locations across the medical campus and hospital, overseeing a dynamic, high-volume contract services food operation. The position is tailored for a seasoned food service professional with a strong background in managing large-scale food retail systems and multi-unit environments. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving organizational success by managing day-to-day food service operations, developing and engaging subordinate managers, supervisors, and frontline employees, and ensuring the achievement of both company and client financial goals.

The General Manager 6 will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong client and customer relationships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service quality across all food retail locations. Job Requirements

  • minimum education requirement - bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum management experience - 5 years
  • minimum functional experience - 5 years

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • seasoned experience as a food service manager or director in contract services, hospitals, universities, and or other large multi-unit operations
  • strong background in retail food systems
  • proven ability to build and implement systems, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • strong financial acumen and technical skills
  • results-driven mindset
  • valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check
