Sodexo is currently seeking a General Manager 6 - Food for its campus dining programs at the University of Vermont, located in Burlington, Vermont. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management, coordination, and strategic direction of the campus dining services. The General Manager will play a critical role in aligning the food service programs with the diverse needs of the university community, driving client satisfaction, and achieving financial objectives. Candidates can expect a competitive compensation package reflective of their experience and education, with additional incentives such as relocation assistance and eligibility for the annual incentive plan (AIP).

This role demands a strong client service mentality and executive presence to effectively build and maintain relationships within the university community. The General Manager will integrate fully within the client’s organization, acting as a trusted advisor dedicated to delivering excellence in service. Responsibilities include ensuring the achievement of financial targets, fostering an inclusive and positive workplace culture, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Leadership skills are essential, as the position requires directing other leaders and driving employee engagement to support student satisfaction and operational excellence.

Beyond operational management, the General Manager will ensure compliance with client contracts and company standards, uphold Sodexo’s commitments to quality, and champion initiatives that promote sustainability and wellness.
