The opportunity at Women’s & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, is for a General Manager 5 – Food, an executive leadership role responsible for overseeing food operations in a demanding healthcare setting. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years functional experience in food service leadership, preferably in healthcare
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume retail and catering operations
  • Strong financial and budget management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and partner effectively with stakeholders
  • Commitment to uphold regulatory and company standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a general manager or senior food service leader in a high-volume retail environment
  • Healthcare food service experience strongly preferred, with working knowledge of patient, retail, and catering operations
  • Sodexo experience preferred, with familiarity in company systems, standards, and client expectations
  • Demonstrated success in revenue growth, particularly catering and retail innovation
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, labor optimization, and budget management
  • Executive presence with excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
