At the Women’s & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager 5 - Food to lead their food operations within a high-profile healthcare setting. This role demands a polished and strategic leader capable of steering significant retail volume operations while identifying and executing opportunities to expand and grow the catering business. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, team development, client engagement, and regulatory compliance.

This position provides a unique opportunity to manage a complex food service operation within a healthcare environment, where patient care, retail service, and catering must seamlessly integrate under a set of rigid standards and expectations. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years functional experience
  • Proven experience as a general manager or senior food service leader in a high-volume retail environment
  • Healthcare food service experience strongly preferred
  • Sodexo experience preferred
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
