This particular opportunity is for a General Manager 4 (Food) position at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Wesley Long Hospital is a 175-bed acute care facility specializing in oncology, orthopedics, and bariatric care. It is part of the Cone Health network and also houses the Cone Health Cancer Center. The role involves supporting all culinary operations within this hospital environment, where patients are the priority and quality of food service significantly impacts overall patient experience and satisfaction. The General Manager 4 will oversee daily food service operations ensuring high standards are met and guests’ needs are fulfilled with efficiency and care.
As the General Manager 4 (Food), you will have comprehensive oversight of day-to-day culinary operations, leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional food service experiences that align with Sodexo’s high standards and the specialized needs of Wesley Long Hospital. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning abilities, and a focus on maintaining excellent client and customer relationships while meeting both company and client financial goals. You will be accountable for creating a positive work environment that motivates and supports staff, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and continuously improving operational effectiveness through effective use of Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC).
