Job Description

This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not by McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products to run the restaurant but operates as a separate company and employer. As such, all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • prior experience managing high volume McDonald’s or similar quick service restaurant preferred
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong commitment to quality customer service
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple responsibilities and operate under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a McDonald’s General Manager at high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
  • leadership and team management skills
  • ability to set and achieve goals
  • excellent communication and coaching abilities
  • strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • must be 18 years or older to qualify for a managerial role

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • work with leaders to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead and support a team of Department Managers by setting goals, providing coaching, and following up on progress
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • oversee staffing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling to maintain efficient restaurant operations
  • improve Department performance to enhance overall restaurant success
  • manage operational standards and drive customer satisfaction
