Job Description
This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not by McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products to run the restaurant but operates as a separate company and employer. As such, all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- prior experience managing high volume McDonald’s or similar quick service restaurant preferred
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- strong commitment to quality customer service
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- effective communication skills
- ability to manage multiple responsibilities and operate under pressure
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a McDonald’s General Manager at high volume locations
- background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
- leadership and team management skills
- ability to set and achieve goals
- excellent communication and coaching abilities
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- must be 18 years or older to qualify for a managerial role
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- work with leaders to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
- lead and support a team of Department Managers by setting goals, providing coaching, and following up on progress
- hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
- oversee staffing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling to maintain efficient restaurant operations
- improve Department performance to enhance overall restaurant success
- manage operational standards and drive customer satisfaction
