Job Description

This job opportunity is with a locally owned and operated McDonald's franchise, a leading global brand in the fast-food industry. McDonald's is renowned for its commitment to quality, service, cleanliness, and value, serving millions of customers daily around the world. The franchise operates under the McDonald's USA brand but maintains independent management, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment focused on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team development. This specific restaurant seeks a full-time Restaurant Manager to lead and inspire their team while driving sales, managing costs, and ensuring outstanding guest experiences. The Restaurant Manager will play a critical role in sustaining high standards in food safety, quality, and customer service within a fast-paced setting. This position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from $40,000 to $65,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, 401(k) with matching contributions, paid training, and a flexible schedule.

As a McDonald's Restaurant Manager, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, results-oriented leader passionate about building and developing teams dedicated to creating an amazing customer service environment. The manager will recruit, train, and retain an optimal number of crew, maintenance, and management staff members, ensuring they are equipped and motivated to meet and exceed operational standards. Leadership skills are paramount, as this role requires setting the tone for the restaurant culture, modeling company values, inspiring the team to achieve common goals, and driving sales growth through local marketing initiatives and effective execution of national promotions. The manager will ensure compliance with food safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and manage maintenance of equipment to support high-quality product output. Operational responsibilities include accurate forecasting and scheduling to maximize productivity and profitability, controlling expenses, and maintaining security and safety procedures.

The Restaurant Manager will facilitate communication across all levels, conduct performance appraisals, hold team members accountable, and implement plans to enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty. They will handle various tasks such as food safety compliance, inventory management, quality food production, exceptional customer service delivery, and safety enforcement. This role requires a hands-on approach, as managers often work alongside their teams during shifts to maintain standards and continuity. Additionally, the manager will ensure all physical aspects of the restaurant including landscaping and building maintenance are impeccably maintained to contribute to the overall guest experience.

This role is ideal for a leader with at least three years of relevant experience who can thrive in a dynamic environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards synonymous with the McDonald's brand. Candidates must understand they will be working for the independent franchisee who owns and operates the restaurant, not directly for McDonald's USA. This distinction means the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters including hiring, supervision, and scheduling. Applicants should be prepared to engage with the franchise organization for privacy and employment-related inquiries. This position offers a rewarding career path with opportunities for professional growth, competitive compensation, and a supportive culture committed to both staff and customer success.
