Job Description

This job posting is for a General Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent McDonald’s franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s brand, logos, and food products but operates as a distinct entity with its own employment practices. This means the franchisee independently manages all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, supervision, and scheduling. If hired, you will be employed by the franchisee and not by McDonald’s USA, which will have no involvement in employment decisions or access to your application.

The General Manager is a pivotal leader responsible for setting restaurant goals and implementing plans to achieve them with the help of Department Managers. Additionally, you may be involved in hiring, training, and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a cohesive and effective leadership team. The position calls for an experienced manager who has previously led high-volume stores, ideally within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. You must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this managerial role.
