This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. Although the franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, it is its own distinct business entity responsible for all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA itself does not have any control over employment decisions for this location, ensuring that the franchisee manages its workforce autonomously. This distinction is important for applicants to understand as the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, will be your employer if hired.

The position available is for a General Manager role in this McDonald’s franchise restaurant. This is a highly responsible leadership position focused on running a profitable restaurant operation while ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met. The General Manager will work closely with their own leadership to set targeted goals for the restaurant and create actionable plans to achieve those goals. This role requires an individual who is committed to inspiring their team and fostering growth among Department Managers.

As General Manager, you will oversee multiple Department Managers who are each responsible for different areas within the restaurant. Your leadership includes helping these managers set and meet their own goals, coaching them for continuous improvement, and aligning their efforts to enhance the overall restaurant’s performance. Leadership also means identifying, hiring, and developing talented Department and Shift Managers who can lead the restaurant successfully into the future.

Ideal candidates for this position will bring prior experience managing high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants but hospitality or retail experience can also be valuable. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, which is a basic managerial eligibility requirement within McDonald’s corporate operated restaurants.
