Job Description

Flynn Group entered the Panera system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes. Since then, the company has expanded more than threefold to become the second largest Panera franchisee in the world. Flynn Panera continues to grow through the strategic building of new stores and the acquisition of other franchise operators. Flynn Panera operates under a decentralized business model where each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Reporting to Market Leaders are Area Directors who oversee multiple units and ensure smooth operations across cafes in their designated areas. General Managers are responsible for the overall running of their individual cafes, supported by Assistant Managers managing departments and Team Managers assisting in daily management. The leadership team at Flynn Panera brings more than 190 years of cumulative experience in the restaurant industry, including over 60 years with the Flynn Group.

Flynn Panera is part of the Flynn Group, a well-established franchise operation founded in 1999 by Greg Flynn. The Flynn Group is the largest franchise operator worldwide, managing a diversified portfolio of top restaurant brands such as Applebee’s, Arby’s, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and Planet Fitness. The organization's mission focuses on being the premier operator within each of these brands by concentrating on core values like genuine care for people, competitive spirit, and teamwork.

As a General Manager at Flynn Panera, you will become part of a team that values food quality and community connection. The role is essential for maintaining outstanding customer experiences and leading a team that can grow and succeed within a fast-paced, demanding restaurant environment. General Managers supervise up to 60 employees and uphold high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and overall cafe management. The role requires a passion for the restaurant industry, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a profitable and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, organizing shifts, maintaining inventory levels, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You will also play a significant role in staff recruitment, training, and development, fostering a culture that aligns with Flynn Panera’s values. This position offers a competitive starting salary of $83,200 per year with additional benefits such as profit sharing, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and sick leave. Flynn Panera provides a supportive and growth-oriented work atmosphere where career advancement opportunities abound, making this an excellent chance for experienced restaurant professionals to grow their management careers in a thriving franchise environment.
