Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald's, a global leader in the fast-food industry. Unlike McDonald's USA, this franchisee functions as a separate company and employer, licensed to use McDonald's branding and food products to serve customers. The franchisee holds full responsibility for all employment-related activities including hiring decisions, staffing, disciplinary actions, supervision, and scheduling within the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • proven experience managing high volume operations
  • ability to lead and develop teams
  • strong communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to meet McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • commitment to following franchisee employment policies

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience in high volume locations
  • experience in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail is a plus
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
  • must be 18 years or older
  • commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and customer service

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant and ensure McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are met
  • set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers by helping set their goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and guidance
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • oversee daily operations to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • manage staffing, scheduling, and discipline consistent with the franchisee's policies
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations
