Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald’s. It is important to note that while this franchisee has the license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, it operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. This means that all employment-related decisions, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are managed solely by the franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 18 years
  • prior managerial experience in high volume quick service or related industry
  • ability to work flexible hours and manage staffing
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • capability to uphold company standards in quality, service, and cleanliness
  • effective communication and organizational abilities
  • commitment to a customer-focused approach

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • age 18 years or older
  • experience setting goals and performance management
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant and meet McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals with leadership and create plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers and provide coaching and direction
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • follow up on departmental progress to ensure goal attainment
  • manage staffing, scheduling, and daily operations effectively
  • maintain high standards of customer service and safety
