It is important to note that the franchisee is a separate legal entity and employer from McDonald's USA, holding exclusive responsibility for all employment decisions and practices within this location. McDonald's USA does not intervene in hiring or employment processes for such independently operated franchises. The position available is that of General Manager at this independently owned McDonald's restaurant. This role is pivotal in ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while meeting McDonald's stringent standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager collaborates closely with leadership to establish the restaurant's goals and develop actionable plans tailored to achieve those objectives. This position demands a strong leader who motivates and guides a team toward collective achievement while fostering an environment conducive to professional growth.
The General Manager supervises a team of Department Managers, each assigned to distinct operational areas within the restaurant. Responsibilities include setting departmental goals, monitoring progress, and delivering coaching to enhance team performance and, ultimately, customer satisfaction. By empowering department leads, the General Manager drives operational excellence and ensures a high-quality customer experience. Additional duties may include recruiting and developing management-level staff, ensuring that the team is well-rounded and equipped to meet the future needs of the restaurant.
Candidates should ideally have a background in managing high-volume quick service restaurants or related sectors such as hospitality and retail. Previous experience as a General Manager with a proven track record of leadership and operational success is highly desirable.
