This job opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s logos and food products. It is important to understand that this franchisee functions as a completely separate entity from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the responsibility for all employment decisions at the restaurant including hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and employee supervision. McDonald’s USA is not involved in the employment process and does not receive applications nor influence hiring decisions.
The role being offered is for a General Manager position in a high volume restaurant setting. This role demands excellent leadership and operational skills to run a profitable business while maintaining McDonald’s critical standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager will collaborate closely with their leader to set ambitious but attainable goals for the restaurant and develop strategic plans to achieve these objectives.
This position is much more than overseeing daily operations; it is about fostering a productive and motivated team. The General Manager will lead a group of Department Managers with specific responsibilities, helping each to set their own departmental goals and monitoring their progress. Providing coaching and leadership to continuously improve departmental performance is key to advancing the overall restaurant's success.
Additionally, the General Manager may be charged with hiring and developing managers at departmental and shift levels, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent to sustain the restaurant's leadership needs into the future. Ideal candidates typically have previous experience managing large, fast-paced restaurants or possess backgrounds in hospitality or retail environments. The candidate must also be at least 18 years old to qualify for a management position.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience managing high volume quick service or hospitality operations
- Ability to lead and develop management teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Manager in high volume quick service restaurants
- Background in hospitality or retail preferred

Job Duties
