The role of Restaurant General Manager at Mo' Bettahs is a pivotal leadership position responsible for steering the daily operations with a strong focus on team management, customer satisfaction, and sales growth. The General Manager will lead by example in executing the Mo' Bettahs brand, demonstrating competence in both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations. This is a hands-on role that demands managing restaurant cleanliness, ensuring food quality standards, and maintaining operational efficiency, particularly in line speed and transaction times.

The General Manager is also the primary contact for handling customer service issues, aiming to uphold high customer sentiment and positive reviews. Leading and coordinating weekly meetings with managers in training, off-premise coordinators, and certified trainers will be essential duties. The role also includes reviewing employee schedules, staffing reports, inventory management, and relevant administrative responsibilities through online systems.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 annually, coupled with a monthly bonus potential based on performance targets across sales, cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, controllable operating expenses, and customer sentiment. Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED
  • two or more years managing up to 40 team members in business or food management
  • proven track record of successfully promoting team members
  • experience in identifying and developing talent within a team
  • ability to make difficult personnel decisions
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, etc)

Job Duties

  • Lead the execution of the brand daily
  • competent in all FOH & BOH positions
  • responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH & BOH
  • responsible for same store sales growth
  • responsible for line speed measured by transaction times
  • serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters
  • handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo' Bettahs standards
  • coordinate and lead weekly meetings with manager in training, off-premise coordinator, and certified trainer
  • review weekly employee schedules
  • complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, online ordering, inventory
  • have a thorough knowledge of the Mo' Bettahs culture
  • follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, security, and maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • adhere to and ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
  • perform other duties as assigned
