This role is for a General Manager position, a vital leadership role responsible for the overall operations within a McDonald's restaurant. The General Manager is responsible for planning success by proactively overseeing all people processes such as recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and staffing. A strong focus is placed on performance management to ensure each team member is motivated, trained, and coached effectively. Making critical business decisions is another key aspect of this role, involving inventory, budgeting, and food ordering costs. The General Manager ensures that food safety measures meet McDonald's rigorous standards and maintains a high level of safety for both guests and staff.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience leading motivating and/or developing others or US Military Service
  • Strong commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace

  • Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs

Job Duties

  • Lead the experience by managing all aspects within the restaurant including food production guest service and experience and direct crew and manager work
  • Plan for success by proactively leading and managing all people processes including recruiting hiring and onboarding staffing and performance management
  • Train coach and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence
  • Make critical business decisions around inventory budget and food ordering costs
  • Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald's standards of excellence
  • Maintain high level of standard for guest and employee safety
  • Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence
