The role of General Manager at Wingstop offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for experienced restaurant leaders to join the management team and drive the operational success of their store. This hourly position, with a compensation range of $26.00 to $29.00 per hour and an estimated yearly total compensation between $65,000 and $85,000 depending on experience and location, involves overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations in collaboration with the District Manager. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure excellent customer service, adherence to quality standards, and efficient store operations.

This leadership position demands a strong focus on performance management, team motivation, and business growth strategies. You will recruit, train, and coach team members while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The General Manager will conduct regular inspections to maintain restaurant standards and implement company policies effectively. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience
  • Food Handler Certification required (can be obtained during onboarding training)
  • Experience using a computer and register (POS) system
  • Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and holidays
  • Spanish speaking a plus

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, orient, train, assign, and schedule team members in partnership with the District Manager
  • Manage team performance including coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff professionally
  • Communicate operational and human resources issues effectively with the District Manager
  • Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure compliance with standards
  • Maintain calm demeanor during high volume periods to set positive example
  • Track inventory and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Resolve food preparation and customer service issues
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation and safety standards
  • Achieve company goals by embracing new responsibilities and adding value
  • Ensure compliance with restaurant operating policies, food quality, cash handling, and safety
  • Oversee maintenance and communication across the organization
  • Use company tools to coach and mentor team members
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen to drive results through team collaboration
