This job opportunity is with an independent franchisee operating a McDonald’s restaurant. Unlike corporate-owned McDonald’s USA locations, this restaurant is owned and operated by a separate business entity that holds a license to use McDonald’s logos, branding, and food products. As such, while the restaurant serves the iconic McDonald’s menu that millions recognize worldwide, the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment aspects, including hiring, firing, discipline, employee scheduling, and overall management. Potential candidates should understand that if hired, they will be employees of the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA itself. This distinction means that McDonald’s USA does not participate in any employment decisions or the application process at this particular restaurant.
