The franchisee independently manages all employment matters including hiring, firing, scheduling, and overall staff supervision. This separation ensures that all hiring decisions and employment practices are controlled at the franchise level, not by McDonald's USA.

The opportunity at hand is for a General Manager role. This pivotal position is responsible for the profitable operation of the restaurant, ensuring it meets McDonald's rigorous standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are central to the McDonald’s experience and are diligently maintained to deliver unmatched customer satisfaction. The General Manager collaborates closely with leadership to set and achieve strategic restaurant goals.

A significant part of the role involves leadership responsibilities over a team of Department Managers, each overseeing specific restaurant operations. The General Manager supports these managers in setting goals, tracking progress, and providing coaching to enhance department performance. Through this team-driven approach, the entire restaurant operates more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the General Manager may be tasked with recruiting and developing future leaders including Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong, capable team.

Ideal candidates will bring prior experience managing high-volume restaurant locations, preferably in quick-service establishments or similar hospitality and retail environments. Being at least 18 years old is a prerequisite for managerial roles within corporate or franchise-operated restaurants.
