The role of a Wendy's Restaurant Manager is a key leadership position focused on managing the operations and staff of a Wendy's restaurant. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • One to two years of related experience or training
  • Must be Serve-Safe certified
  • Must attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • Ability to read analyze and interpret business documents and governmental regulations
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of company's operating systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with company policies and procedures
  • Understanding of profit and loss analysis and corrective actions
  • Proficient in supervisory practices
  • Skilled in planning and budgeting
  • Experienced in interviewing practices
  • Knowledgeable about training and development practices
  • Understanding of federal state and local employment laws

Job Duties

  • Manage the operations and staff of Wendy's restaurant including the execution of all company policies procedures programs and systems
  • Ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Provide leadership direction training and development to subordinate managers and crew
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Plan and budget to achieve financial goals
  • Conduct interviews and hiring processes for staff members
