Mo' Bettahs is a well-established restaurant brand deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture and values. The company cherishes its core values that embody the qualities of ideal team players, namely Kuleana (Responsibility), Ho'okipa (Hospitality and Aloha), Ho'okuku (Competitiveness), Mo'omeheu (Culture), Miki'oi (Fine Craftsmanship), and Pono (Righteousness). These values reflect the company’s commitment to responsibility, excellence, cultural celebration, providing personable service, and attention to detail. Mo' Bettahs emphasizes a vibrant work culture where the spirit of aloha is not just a phrase but a way of life, influencing how they interact with customers, team members, and vendors alike. The company promotes a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that encourages personal and professional development.

The role offered is a Restaurant Manager position focused on leading daily operations to ensure the brand's standards are upheld across both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth at the store level, maintaining cleanliness, managing employee schedules, and acting as the key contact for customer service matters. This role requires a hands-on leader competent in multiple positions within the restaurant to effectively execute quality food preparation and excellent customer service that align with Mo' Bettahs standards. A crucial part of the role includes reviewing performance metrics, completing schedules, overseeing inventory, online ordering, and ensuring all staff adhere to health, safety, sanitation, and security policies.

Candidates must embody the aloha spirit and the Mo' Bettahs values of hunger, kindness, energy, humility, and selflessness. They will be expected to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, leadership ability, multitasking capability, and a strong attention to detail. The role requires the ability to make difficult personnel decisions and foster a positive, motivated team.

This position requires individuals 18 years or older with a minimum of two years of management experience, preferably in the food or business sectors, overseeing teams of up to 40 members. Candidates should have a proven track record of promoting and developing team members. The Restaurant Manager should be capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of service and operational excellence.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn monthly and annual bonuses totaling up to $13,000 and $29,250 respectively, based on performance targets. Additional benefits include free meals during shifts, discounts for family and friends, and comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance.

Working conditions for this role are physically demanding, involving standing and sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, and occasionally working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work on computers for prolonged times and may need to travel for business purposes. The company places importance on a drug-free workplace and requires transparency regarding any medications that may impact job performance. Mo' Bettahs is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering a harassment-free environment regardless of race, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, genetic information, veteran status, or pregnancy.
