This particular role is for a General Manager position within one of Noodles & Company's restaurants. The General Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for running all operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest standards in food quality, guest service, and team engagement. As a General Manager at Noodles & Company, you will oversee daily restaurant functions, delegate responsibilities to managers and team members, and inspire your team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will be tasked with maintaining operational standards, ensuring safety and cleanliness, managing labor and food costs, and driving sales growth through marketing initiatives and exceptional service delivery. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience and two years of management experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with skill and discretion
  • Ability to make guests smile uncontrollably
  • Articulate
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and accountability
  • Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work necessary hours
  • We find that a typical work week for GMs is 47.5 hours
  • Our expectation is that you work additional hours as needed to ensure that your restaurant thrives
  • Position may require walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling or moving objects up to 55 pounds
  • Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen or restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • Plan, identify, communicate and delegate responsibilities to managers and team members to ensure excellent operations are consistently achieved
  • Manage with integrity and knowledge that promotes the culture and beliefs of Noodles & Company
  • Lead the implementation of company initiatives by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the team on the implementation plans
  • Provide direction to the team in order to achieve restaurant goals
  • Consistently review restaurant operations to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all team members engage in conversations with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members and managers and assess performance on an ongoing basis
