Job Requirements
- previous 2+ years of general manager experience in a busy select service hotel or 4+ years as an assistant general manager
- ability to communicate effectively through email
- proficiency with spreadsheets and database analysis
- experience handling hotel information and accounting systems
- experience working in premium brand hotels highly preferred
Job Qualifications

- computer and office skills with ability to communicate effectively via email and analyze data from spreadsheets and databases
- experience with hotel information and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
- premium brand experience preferred such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott or IHG
Job Duties
- focus on and adhere to key success measures such as Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction
- develop a staff optimization plan for all leaders to understand their mission and deliver exceptional service within 30 days
- establish relationships with key players including Hotel Ownership and Field/Corporate Staff within the first 30 days
- foster positive relationships with onsite and regional sales staff as well as corporate sales and marketing leadership
- balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
- maximize potential of associates through team cohesion
- aggressively grow market share particularly from local competitors
