Job Description

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a respected hospitality company known for its commitment to excellence and premium service standards. Specializing in managing a diverse portfolio of select service hotels, Crestline Hotels & Resorts focuses on creating memorable guest experiences by combining strategic leadership with hands-on operational expertise. The company promotes a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and innovation, ensuring its properties maintain a competitive edge in the hospitality industry. Crestline Hotels & Resorts values diversity and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability status.

The role of General Manager at Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a pivotal leadership position designed to oversee and guide one of its multi-million dollar business units. This position requires a results-oriented leader who can expertly balance strategic planning with on-the-ground execution within a fast-paced hotel environment. The General Manager's responsibility is to foster a cohesive team atmosphere, maximizing each associate’s potential and ensuring delivery of unparalleled customer service initiatives. This role demands a dynamic individual capable of maintaining and growing the hotel’s market share, particularly by attracting business from local competitors. Establishing strong relationships with hotel ownership, key leaders, staff, and corporate personnel is integral to the successful fulfillment of this position.

The General Manager will be held accountable for vital performance metrics such as Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction. Their leadership will directly influence these indicators, driving improvement and achievement from the outset. A significant part of the role involves staff optimization through effective training and mentoring to ensure newly hired and existing leaders understand their mission fully and are empowered to deliver exceptional service and operational success.

This role also requires developing robust professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hotel ownership groups, the regional sales team, corporate sales, and marketing leadership. These partnerships are essential for fostering a unified approach to achieving the hotel’s business objectives. The General Manager will collaborate closely with the Regional Director of Sales and the broader sales teams to support aggressive growth strategies and enhance brand presence within the market.

Ideal candidates should bring a strong background in hotel management, preferably with at least two years as a General Manager in a busy select-service hotel environment or four-plus years as an Assistant General Manager. Proficiency in computer and office skills is mandatory, including competency in using email effectively and analyzing data from spreadsheets and databases for decision-making. Experience with hotel information and accounting systems aligned with the brand standards is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with premium brand experience such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned hospitality professionals to lead with impact in a supportive and dynamic setting, driving both guest satisfaction and business success at Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
