The role of General Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned restaurant location and its team members. Key responsibilities include identifying and delegating tasks to the management team and staff to meet objectives and consistently achieve excellent service. The General Manager will consistently review restaurant operations, manage staff performance, and provide coaching and feedback to foster professional growth. Creating a positive guest experience by ensuring staff deliver high levels of service and actively engage with guests to understand and exceed their expectations is a pivotal part of the role. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining standards related to food quality, safety, cleanliness, labor, and product costs to optimize profitability.

The position requires hands-on leadership in training and coaching staff on customer service principles and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and safety protocols. The General Manager will also be involved in implementing new marketing promotions, conducting staff meetings, managing administrative duties such as inventory control, ordering, scheduling, labor management, and utilizing operational tools like Zenput. This role is geared towards candidates who are passionate about taking ownership of their location, driving sales growth, and actively participating in the local community.

This is a full-time position with an extensive manager in training program lasting 8-10 weeks (360 hours) at certified training locations. This training may require travel and must be successfully completed prior to assuming the General Manager role. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and supervisory abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are mandatory due to the nature of the training and operational needs. Working nights, weekends, and long hours (50+ per week) is required. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and demonstrate professionalism in appearance and conduct. Job Duties
