Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train new employees
- plan, assign, and direct work activities
- appraise performance and discipline employees including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems promptly
- foster a culture of high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior to create a welcoming atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and company initiatives to team
- assist team members with duties as needed
- lead sales building and suggestive selling activities
- maximize table turnover and sales metrics
- meet and greet guests while resolving quality or service issues
- maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
- ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies
- enforce safe work practices for staff and guests
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
- control security, inventory, food and labor costs
- manage schedules and finances effectively
- ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and assets
