As part of the Crestline Hotels & Resorts family, this property prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences through a seamless blend of comfort and convenience. We are currently seeking a General Manager to lead this prestigious property. The General Manager role at Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando International Drive ICON Park is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure profitability, guest satisfaction, and compliance with brand standards. This role demands a hands-on executive capable of balancing strategic initiatives with active presence on the hotel floor, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork among associates. The successful candidate will be adept at market positioning, maintaining strong relationships with hotel ownership, corporate teams, and key stakeholders, while aggressively pursuing growth opportunities against local competition. This multifaceted position requires a visionary leader with the ability to inspire and develop staff, drive revenue performance, and uphold Crestline Hotels & Resorts' high standards for service and operational success.

The General Manager will focus on three of Crestline’s principal success measures: Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction, making continual improvement in these areas a top priority. A key aspect of the role involves staff optimization—crafting and implementing comprehensive training and development plans for both newly hired and existing leaders, ensuring that each team member is aligned with the hotel’s mission and equipped to deliver exceptional service within their first 30 days. Building and nurturing effective relationships with hotel ownership, field and corporate staff, as well as sales leadership, forms the foundation for collaborative success. This role is not only about managing operations but also about inspiring an organizational culture rooted in excellence, innovation, and guest-centric values, driving the hotel toward sustainable growth and industry prominence.

Job Requirements

  • previous 5+ years of general manager experience within a busy full service or conference center hotel required
  • computer and office skills required
  • ability to communicate effectively through email
  • ability to manipulate and decipher information from spreadsheets and databases
  • experience with hotel information and accounting systems relevant to the brand
  • premium brand experience highly preferred

Job Qualifications

  • previous 5+ years of general manager experience within a busy full-service or conference center hotel
  • experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
  • computer and office skills including email communication and data analysis
  • premium brand experience highly preferred (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG)
