Known for its integrated approach to real estate investment, lending, and servicing, Peachtree Group offers a dynamic and supportive environment where hotel operations and hospitality excellence are paramount. The company prides itself on fostering a service culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Employees are valued members of a broader team that includes regional leadership and operational support, all aimed at achieving superior hotel performance.
The role of General Manager at Peachtree Group Hospitality Management is a pivotal leadership position involving comprehensive oversight and management of all aspects of hotel operations. This position requires an individual who leads with empathy, effective communication, humility, innovation, and a strong financial focus. The General Manager is entrusted with cultivating team synergy within the hotel, ensuring that every department operates efficiently and aligns with the company’s core service values to maximize guest satisfaction. This role includes strategic planning, championing the brand and company reputation, and contributing to financial forecasts and budgets. The General Manager will collaborate closely with regional accounting and operations teams to analyze monthly profit and loss statements, aiming to optimize revenue streams such as room sales, food and beverage, and other services to ensure peak profitability.
Further responsibilities involve fostering a supportive team environment by providing comprehensive training, mentorship, and coaching to employees. The General Manager is also engaged in regular revenue meetings led by the regional team and plays an active role in the local community by participating in volunteer activities and events.
This role requires proficiency in various hospitality and financial systems, including Profit Sword, Hotel Effectiveness, M3, and Hospitality PMS systems. Candidates are expected to bring current or prior experience as a hotel general manager or at least three years of leadership in hotel rooms, operations, or sales within major brands such as Hilton, Marriott, or Hyatt. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for managing distressed guests and associates effectively, alongside professional communication skills in both written and verbal formats. Hospitality certifications such as CHA, CHRM, or CHSP are considered advantageous.
