This position is not just a managerial role but a key influencer who ensures smooth execution of all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that reflects the company's dedication to quality and culture. The position offers a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 with additional monthly bonuses based on store performance metrics, enabling a yearly earning potential that rewards dedication and success. Mo' Bettahs supports and encourages growth within the team, requiring the candidate to have a proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop staff while upholding high standards in customer service and food quality.

The role requires conducting weekly meetings with managers in training, off-premise coordinators, and certified trainers to ensure alignment with the brand's goals and facilitate effective communication. You will also be responsible for managing employee schedules, completing a variety of operational reports including self-reporting and inventory checks, and consistently ensuring adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and security regulations. Furthermore, this role involves being the primary point of contact for customer service, addressing all concerns and reviews to maintain an outstanding brand reputation.

Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED
  • two or more years managing up to 40 team members in business or food management
  • proven track record of successfully promoting team members
  • experience in identifying and developing talent within a team
  • ability to make difficult personnel decisions
  • perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Lead the execution of the brand daily
  • competent in all FOH and BOH positions
  • responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH and BOH
  • responsible for same store sales growth
  • responsible for line speed measured using transaction times
  • serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters and responsible for overall customer reviews
  • handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo' Bettahs standards
  • coordinate and lead weekly meetings with Manager in Training, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
  • review weekly employee schedules
  • complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, complete online ordering, inventory, etc.
  • have a thorough knowledge of the Mo' Bettahs culture
  • follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, security, and maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • adhere to and ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
