The General Manager role at CAVA is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations and guiding team members to deliver excellent guest service. This full-time position requires a passionate and motivated individual with a strong dedication to fostering a positive work culture and ensuring operational success. As the General Manager, you will act as the driving force behind your restaurant's performance, managing all aspects including people development, staffing, inventory, labor control, and accountability. You will lead your team by setting high standards, creating a welcoming and productive atmosphere, and inspiring everyone to prioritize both guest satisfaction and teamwork. Your leadership will be crucial in developing team members through coaching, training, and performance management, helping them grow individually while advancing the restaurant’s goals. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to bend and reach overhead often
  • Must possess dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment
  • Must be comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
  • Must be comfortable working near open flames
  • May be required to work in tight spaces
  • Must maintain near constant communication with multiple people
  • Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision are required
  • Must be able to sit, squat and kneel occasionally
  • Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • May be required to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions
  • May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
