Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- minimum three years experience as General Manager in a full-service hotel
- experience with boutique-style or independent hotel groups
- proficiency in English communication
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- ability to handle ambiguity and lead strategically
- passion for community engagement
- emotional maturity and intellectual adaptability
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- commitment to confidentiality and integrity
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related relevant years of experience
- previous General Manager experience in a full-service hotel within an upper-upscale or boutique-lifestyle property
- proficiency in English language in reading, writing and verbal communication
- adaptable interpersonal skills to represent hotel effectively
- ability to articulate perspective with substance and clarity
- strong analytical and collaborative skills
- passionate about driving results and influencing others
- values integrity, confidentiality and discretion
Job Duties
- Collaborate frequently with headquarters for support, clarification, direction, approval and potential risks
- take ownership of the short and long-term profitability of the hotel
- act as the mayor of the neighborhood and create relationships and connections within the local community
- attract and select the most qualified, on-brand talent and develop and coach associates for future advancement
- reinforce the company’s Art and Science ideologies to ensure translocal hospitality, intuitive service, and collaboration are implemented and modeled
- create a Food and Beverage driven environment ensuring offerings are locally sourced and of the highest quality
- encourage employees to follow instincts and provide thoughtful and authentic guest experiences
- monitor employee engagement and guest feedback actively
- ensure executive team achieves quarterly incentives by driving key performance metrics
- dive deep into sales and marketing efforts to diversify revenue sources and maximize market segments
