Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a general manager
  • Experience in select service hotel operations
  • Proven track record of driving guest satisfaction scores
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong sales and marketing skills
  • Hands-on approach to financial management
  • Prior experience with Choice brand preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a general manager for at least 5 years
  • Proven ability to drive high guest satisfaction scores
  • Experience in select service hotel operations
  • Familiarity with Choice Hotels brand preferred
  • Strong sales and networking skills
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and developing teams
  • Financial acumen in managing budgets and P&L
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership training or development program participation

Job Duties

  • Manage overall hotel operations to ensure excellent guest experiences
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies with the team
  • Hire, mentor, and lead hotel staff to achieve high performance
  • Maintain financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Serve as the liaison with hotel brand, owners, and corporate leadership
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, training, and operational deadlines
  • Network with city officials and community stakeholders as brand representative
