Job Requirements
- minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager in a Four-Diamond hotel
- proven leadership and team management abilities
- experience managing labor relations and union environments
- strong understanding of sales, revenue management, and market positioning
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to develop and implement business strategies
- financial acumen including budget management and forecasting
- commitment to guest satisfaction and associate development
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager or Resort Manager in an upscale environment
- previous experience with labor relations and managing in a union environment required
- previous experience in a resort environment with seasonal business fluctuations preferable
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communications skills
- ability to motivate team to provide best in class customer service
- over 10 years of P&L responsibilities
Job Duties

- ensures sales and revenue engines are leveraged to drive RevPAR improvement year over year
- ensures capital expenditure funds are budgeted and deployed effectively
- holds staff accountable for successful performance in a positive manner
- utilizes an open door policy
- communicates clear and consistent messages regarding property goals
- fosters associate engagement to provide excellent service
- conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports
- hires executive committee team members with strong functional expertise
- works collaboratively with Global Sales Offices to build strong business relationships
- provides strategic direction and support to group sales team
- participates in daily operations meetings to ensure interdepartmental communication and guest satisfaction
- participates in risk management and prevention efforts including legal and workers compensation
- ensures accurate revenue, expense, and labor forecasts and execution
