The General Manager role at ESA Management is a critical leadership position responsible for the overall success of the hotel property. This role is designed for a seasoned hospitality professional who is passionate about guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The General Manager oversees all facets of hotel management, including achieving financial goals, enhancing the guest experience, managing and developing associates, and ensuring full compliance with company brand standards. Collaboration with district managers, direct supervision of assistant managers, and proactive engagement with hotel staff characterize this role. The General Manager ensures that all guest-related issues are resolved efficiently and consistently in line with the company’s objectives.

Preference is given to candidates holding at least a two-year degree and possessing computer literacy in common office applications. The ability to manage multiple projects and lead a diverse team effectively is critical. Spanish conversational skills are considered an asset, supporting communication in diverse environments.
The role requires occasional travel within the local community and infrequent travel between cities, including possible air travel. The work environment involves exposure to weather conditions, occasional physical effort such as pushing or lifting up to 25 pounds, and working near mechanical components or chemicals under certain circumstances. Job Requirements
- Minimum three years related hospitality management experience
- Customer experience required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a motor vehicle check
- Two-year degree highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use email, word processing, and spreadsheet software
- Ability to organize multiple projects
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage and direct a staff to perform daily job tasks
- Conversational or proficient in Spanish
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and exposure to fumes or chemicals
- Ability to travel locally and infrequently between cities
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
