Partnering with the District Manager, this role involves strategic oversight of associate performance, policy enforcement, and driving a culture of excellence.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hotel management or supervisory role
- Demonstrated success in managing guest satisfaction and staff performance
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
- Exceptional customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role
- Strong understanding of guest service excellence and hotel operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Familiarity with ESA brand standards and hospitality industry best practices
- Ability to manage financial operations including budgeting and cash handling
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Experience with staff training and development programs
- Competence in problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Proficiency in using hospitality management systems and productivity tracking tools
Job Duties
- Demonstrates and promotes 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests
- Ensures that all guest related issues are resolved in a manner consistent with the company’s goals and objectives
- Ensures rooms are Guest Ready, including adhering to the highest cleanliness standards
- Maintains public areas and grounds in excellent condition
- Completes daily room and Guest Ready room inspections
- Manages ESA Brand Standards and processes while pursuing continuous improvement
- Ensures the proper recruiting, interviewing, screening, reference checking, and hiring procedures are followed
- Onboards and trains new associates to include Best Day Ever and Extended Stay University training course compliance
- Drives positive work environment through teamwork, leading by example with energy, enthusiasm and recognition
- Partners with District Manager to generate optimal associate performance including coaching, counseling and enforcement of company policies
- Conducts daily team meetings to communicate and discuss company updates and improve hotel performance
- Provides team members with the necessary tools and supplies
- Maintains appropriate PAR levels through Daily Visual Management
- Efficiently manages rooms to keep all guest rooms in service
- Manages labor expenses by approving Daily Punches and utilizes Productivity reports
- Responsible for cash management including collection of in-house guest balances
- Ensures quality lead generation through guest interactions and market awareness
- Upholds and enforces ESA standards and policy compliance
- Ensures bank deposits are completed in accordance with company policy
- Completes competitive surveillance (Sales Drive Bys)
- Reviews in-house rates
- Adheres to federal, state and local employment laws
- Performs duties in all aspects of hotel operations as needed
- Directly manages an Assistant General Manager / Team Leader
- Actively monitors guest experience and social media to ensure timely responses to postings and issues
