The General Labor - Meat Processing Associate position at Conagra’s Macomb, Michigan manufacturing facility offers a unique career opportunity for individuals interested in the food production sector, specifically meat snack manufacturing. As a valued member of a 50-person team, you will work under the guidance of a Production Team Leader to help produce Duke's Meat Snacks. This full-time role operates on the first shift from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays based on production needs, providing a predictable and stable schedule. The facility is conveniently located near the 23 Mile Road and Hayes intersection.

In this role, you will engage in multiple stages of the meat processing workflow, including handling raw materials, mixing recipes, operating grinding machinery, and preparing raw sausages for cooking. You will also be expected to assist with the set-up and clean-up of equipment and maintain detailed production records. The work environment involves consistent exposure to cold temperatures ranging between 39 and 44 degrees Fahrenheit, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle repeated lifting of up to 50 pounds. The position offers an hourly wage of $17.50 with a $0.50 increase after 90 days, and pay is distributed weekly.
