The company is currently seeking a General Labor team member to join their bakery operations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that finished goods meet quality standards, support food safety initiatives, and comply with all regulatory requirements. The General Labor position emphasizes maintaining an efficient production flow to keep up with high-volume outputs while delivering products that meet the company’s rigorous specifications. Operating primarily on the second shift from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM, this position requires flexibility for weekend work as production demands dictate. Compensation for this role ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 hourly, reflecting the industry's competitive pay for skilled manufacturing labor.

In this role, the General Laborer will be expected to package finished cookie products according to production standards, monitor product quality, and communicate any defects or issues to supervisory staff promptly. The position involves working in a fast-paced conveyor environment where maintaining a consistent production pace is essential. Responsibilities extend to managing packaging materials, staging packaged products for inspection and case packing, and ensuring that the work area remains clean and organized in compliance with food safety protocols. Job Duties

  • Package finished cookie products into clamshells in accordance with production standards
  • monitor product quality and promptly communicate concerns to Leads or Operators
  • maintain consistent production pace in a fast-moving conveyor environment
  • ensure clamshell packaging materials are adequately stocked and report shortages
  • support downstream operations by properly staging packaged product for inspection and case packing
  • maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area
  • follow all food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while fostering positive working relationships
