CCS Facility Services is recognized as one of the largest building service contractors in the United States, specializing in professional janitorial and facility engineering services. Serving thousands of commercial businesses nationwide, CCS stands out due to its extensive team of experienced cleaning and engineering professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality and reliable building maintenance solutions. Rooted in the philosophy of a Service Heart, CCS emphasizes a company culture built to serve and committed to surpassing customer expectations with exceptional service and a personal touch. The company’s dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has earned it a reputable position within the industry, making it a preferred provider among commercial clients seeking dependable and expertly managed facility services.
CCS Facility Services focuses on creating safe, clean, and well-maintained environments for its clients. This commitment extends beyond simply meeting industry standards; the company strives to foster healthy workspaces that promote safety and productivity. With a workforce deeply invested in the company’s core values and a strong internal community, CCS promotes employee growth through recognition, investment, and career advancement opportunities.
The janitor position is vital within CCS as it directly upholds these standards, ensuring that client facilities maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation. This role requires dedication to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing cleaning and facility maintenance needs. Janitors at CCS are entrusted with cleaning interior building spaces including floors, carpets, windows, and walls, while also maintaining furniture, restrooms, and common areas. They work with a variety of cleaning tools and supplies to uphold a hygienic environment, which is crucial for client satisfaction and workplace safety.
Key responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch areas like door handles and office equipment. The role also involves upkeep of trash and recycling containers and outdoor sidewalk maintenance such as trash removal and snow clearing when necessary. Janitors are expected to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any unsafe or maintenance-related issues promptly to supervisors. They follow strict safety protocols and complete cleaning logs to ensure transparency and accountability.
Beyond cleaning duties, successful candidates demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality, dependability in following instructions and completing assignments, and a keen awareness of safety and security practices. The position may expose workers to occasional hazards like mechanical equipment, chemicals, weather conditions, and moderate noise levels. Physical requirements include the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and securely closing premises at the end of shifts.
CCS Facility Services offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.75 to $19.00, combined with benefits that underline the company’s commitment to its employees. A significant perk includes access to DailyPay, allowing employees to receive their earnings promptly. Working at CCS means joining an organization that values its people, fosters a supportive community, and prioritizes a Service Heart mentality to deliver outstanding results for both employees and clients alike. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking a stable work environment with a clear path for internal development and a rewarding experience in the facility services industry.
