This particular role is a non-management, full-time position located at 370 Hughes Center Dr, Las Vegas, Nevada, with a pay rate of $20.40 per hour. The position falls under the Engineering & Facilities job category and involves performing general cleaning and preventative maintenance of guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces. The Maintenance and Housekeeping responsibilities include conducting planned preventive maintenance tasks such as CARE, RPM, and GCPM inspections. Duties include turning and inspecting mattresses, assembling bed frames, vacuuming behind and under furniture, stain removal from carpets and upholstery, dusting, minor paint touch-ups, furniture repairs, verifying the presence and functionality of accessories and appliances, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting grout and caulking.
The role also requires performing minor miscellaneous repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and filling wall holes. Comprehensive cleaning of all guest room surfaces including bathtubs, tiles, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors is expected. Promptly reporting significant maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to the manager or supervisor is crucial. The employee must comply with all company safety policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, participate in safety training and certifications, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor according to company standards. Confidentiality and protection of company property are emphasized. This role requires the physical ability to reach above the head and below the knees, bend, twist, kneel, drag, and lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and assist with heavier objects.
