The role of a Geek Squad Delivery Driver, also known internally as a Delivery Experience Agent, is integral to the seamless delivery and installation experience that Best Buy offers its customers. This position involves the delivery, installation, repair, and haul-away of appliances, televisions, and various technological devices. Drivers are responsible for carefully planning the delivery route within the customer's home or other delivery sites, which includes measuring spaces, protecting installation areas, and determining whether structural adjustments, such as door removal, are necessary. The job requires physical stamina, as employees must carry, lift, push, and pull heavy items, sometimes up to 350 pounds alone or 700 pounds as part of a team.

Candidates for this role should have a minimum of six months of experience in customer service, sales, installation, or large product delivery and must hold a valid driver’s license while maintaining a clean driving record that meets Best Buy's safety requirements. Employees must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain any required local or state licensing within 90 days of hiring. The role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and comfort with using and learning about technology products in home installation contexts.
