Job Duties
- Monitor and manage entry and exit of trucks trailers and other vehicles at facility gates
- Verify drivers' documentation including identification delivery orders and shipping manifests
- Perform security checks on incoming and outgoing vehicles as required
- Accurately log vehicle arrivals departures and load details into company systems
- Maintain records of all gate activities ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Generate reports for management on vehicle and freight activity as needed
- Serve as the point of contact for drivers providing directions and guidance within the facility
- Communicate with operations and warehouse teams to coordinate loading unloading and vehicle movements
- Report any delays discrepancies or security concerns to the appropriate departments
- Ensure all vehicles and personnel comply with safety regulations and facility protocols
- Check the condition of cargo and vehicle seals to prevent tampering or theft
- Process gate passes delivery receipts and shipping documentation
- Handle inquiries from drivers vendors and other stakeholders professionally
- Assist with troubleshooting system errors or administrative discrepancies
