Job Requirements
- Associate of Science degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service Management
- certification as Food Service Manager or other as required by State County or Local regulations
- two plus years supervisory experience in hotel or free standing restaurant
- ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes
- effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of food service operations and cost control
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, direct and coordinate all culinary activities
- ensure efficient operation of culinary department
- supervise kitchen activities to maintain quality and timely delivery of food
- manage labor and operational costs within budget
- recruit, train and schedule culinary staff
- maintain inventory and storeroom requisitions
- communicate effectively with culinary and hotel management
- conduct departmental and team meetings to align on goals and updates
- uphold and enforce safety and hygiene standards
- promote teamwork and maintain excellent guest and employee relations
