Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior culinary or food preparation experience preferred
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in hot, humid, and noisy environments
- availability for morning and evening shifts
- ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation protocols
- completion of a behavioral assessment
Job Qualifications
- Culinary experience preferred
- ability to prepare cold food items with precision
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- experience in sandwich making and food garnishing
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work flexible morning and evening shifts
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepares all salad items before each shift including washing and cutting lettuce, vegetables, fruits, and meats
- maintains product levels during service hours
- prepares salads and cold items for special functions
- prepares salad dressings
- slices and pre-portions cold cooked meat, fish, and poultry
- garnishes food items in an appetizing manner
- prepares appetizers and hors d'oeuvres
- makes sandwiches according to standard recipes
- cleans equipment and maintains cleanliness of pantry and storage areas
- sets up, maintains and breaks down salad prep station
- covers, dates, and stores reusable leftover products
- ensures food products are used before spoilage
- prepares and serves items as per portion and presentation standards
- notifies Sous Chef of product shortages in advance
