The company prides itself on delivering superior customer service, maintaining clean and secure parking environments, and utilizing innovative parking technologies to enhance the guest experience. With a strong focus on safety and operational excellence, Towne Park has established itself as a leader in the parking services industry, catering to commercial, residential, and special event parking requirements.

The role of Porter at Towne Park is integral to ensuring that the parking garage environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming to all guests. This is an hourly position with a competitive pay range of $17 to $19 per hour, based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and location. The work schedule is primarily weekends, from Saturday to Sunday between 6 AM and 2 PM, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking consistent weekend employment.

As a Porter, the primary responsibility is to maintain the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the parking garage, including the common areas, entrances, and exits. This involves performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, power washing, and trash removal to ensure a spotless and pleasant environment. Additionally, the Porter plays a significant role in assisting guests with any parking-related issues, such as lock-outs, flat tires, battery jumps, and lost vehicle assistance. Exceptional hospitality skills are essential, as the Porter serves as the first point of contact for visitors and is expected to provide friendly, efficient, and attentive customer service throughout the entire guest experience.

Key functions include conducting regular cleanliness checks of guest entrances and elevator landings, emptying ash urns and trash receptacles, wiping down signage, and maintaining equipment such as gates and card readers. The Porter is also tasked with protecting guest confidentiality and maintaining the security of customer financial and identifying information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Physical demands of the job include extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting objects up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work is primarily conducted outdoors and may expose employees to varying weather conditions.

The Porter position at Towne Park offers several benefits including eligibility to enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and participation in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan. However, seasonal and temporary roles are excluded from benefit eligibility. Towne Park emphasizes a safe and supportive work environment, providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. This is a role suited for dependable individuals with a high school diploma or GED, basic cleaning knowledge, and preferably previous customer service experience. The position demands effective communication skills in English, the ability to comprehend instructions, and a customer-focused attitude to uphold the company’s standards of service excellence.
