Metropolis is hiring for the role of Mobility Specialist, a non-driving attendant position based at various locations in Detroit. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay ranging from $15 to $16 per hour and requires individuals to obtain a Parking Attendant License. Mobility Specialists act as the company's welcoming face in parking lots and garages, providing customer support by helping clients understand and adopt the new, frictionless parking technology. This role demands excellent communication skills, patience, and a courteous demeanor as the attendant enhances the customer experience.

In this role, you will support operations by ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of parking facilities, as well as assist with parking enforcement. Expect to stand or walk for extended periods, inspect vehicles for compliance, issue parking violations when necessary, and maintain the overall appearance of parking areas. The position involves working in diverse weather conditions and requires physical stamina to lift objects and complete general maintenance tasks such as sweeping, painting, snow removal, and equipment upkeep.

Beyond customer interaction, Mobility Specialists are responsible for property upkeep such as pressure washing, power sweeping, and trash removal, along with minor repairs on parking gates and other equipment.
