Critical thinking and analytical skills will help troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues using hand and power tools effectively. Flexibility is necessary as additional duties may be assigned depending on floor events and operational needs. The position involves physical demands such as sitting or standing up to ten hours daily, walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crouching, lifting up to 75 pounds, and operating in a smoke-filled environment, requiring applicants to be physically prepared for these conditions.

To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED with an Associate's degree or certification in electronics engineering or a related technical field. One year of electronics troubleshooting experience is required, with preferred experience in carpentry and prior gaming industry exposure. Licenses and certifications in sexual harassment prevention, TIPS, and Title 31 SARC compliance are mandatory to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Prospective employees must pass a pre-employment drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA gaming license as required by tribal and state gaming authorities.
