Job Description
This job opportunity is with a vibrant hospitality establishment situated in Southern Nevada, specializing in delivering exceptional food and beverage services within a dynamic and guest-focused environment. The company is dedicated to providing a superior guest experience through attentive and friendly service, coupled with quality drinks and culinary offerings. Known for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked bar and lounge area, this establishment cultivates an atmosphere ideal for both casual guests and special events. The emphasis lies on excellent customer interaction, efficiency, and adherence to health and safety standards set by local authorities such as the Southern Nevada Health District. Employees are valued for their ability to contribute to the upbeat and professional ambiance of the venue.
The role offered is that of a Bartender, a pivotal position within the service team responsible for both the preparation and presentation of food and beverages. The role demands engaging with guests sincerely and professionally to create memorable experiences that encourage repeat patronage and customer satisfaction. The bartender is expected to manage their station meticulously, ensuring cleanliness and inventory are maintained continuously throughout the shift. This includes setting up and breaking down service areas, restocking garnishes and beverages, and handling all drink orders accurately following prescribed recipes and service standards.
The job holder must possess thorough knowledge of all menu items, suggestively sell items to guests, and maintain optimal hygiene and safety standards across all operations. The position also involves supporting the broader team by performing side work and assisting with restaurant cleanliness during less busy periods. Proper transaction handling is essential, alongside the ability to run food orders to tables efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with guests.
In addition to fulfilling core service duties, this position involves active participation in marketing efforts by collecting guest information to enhance the company’s promotional database. Employees are required to hold specific certifications such as a valid Alcohol Awareness Card, a Health Card, and a Non-Gaming card, indicative of their compliance with regulatory requirements necessary for the hospitality industry in Nevada. Physical capability to perform tasks including reaching, stooping, bending, and lifting is also essential, highlighting the physical nature of the role.
Working in this fast-paced, guest-oriented role offers an opportunity to develop strong interpersonal skills and gain extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. The company supports its team members in meeting and exceeding all departmental and company policies and procedures, ensuring a professional and supportive work environment. While the employment type and salary details are not specified, prospective candidates can expect a role deeply integrated into the hospitality sector’s customer service and operational excellence standards.
